A wonderful little machine!

This wonderful machine- found outside of a Waitrose- where else? Takes recyclable items and issues vouchers in return. They are, to be honest not truly money saving because the vouchers are usually of the 'buy X and get Y free variety' but I am sure they encourage recycling regardless.

Using less of the worlds resources should always be cheaper than using more.

Why is it that we are asked to pay more for 'green' products? 'Green' has become a designer brand and a way to show off.

This splendid machine fits my philosophy (that I call 'pale green') much better. Put bottles and cans in the top and get discount vouchers for local shops out the bottom!

Old money is generally green without intending to be so. It buys the best and keeps it until it falls to bits. It loves the countryside but is not sentimental about it. They preserve wildlife and then shoot it- such is the way of nature. The exciting thing is that the good that they do puts money in their pocket rather than making them poor. In other words.. we can all afford to go green!
