Tuesday.

Tuesday is my day for the Path of Life.

And what is the Path of Life? It is my response to a book I am reading called Status Syndrome. This book confirms what I have suspected for a long time- that social status affects health happyness and lifespan. This has been disguised by the fact that low social status is usually found alongside povery and pre existing illness. In other words the shorterned lifespan (about four years) was attributed either to the poverty or to poor genetics which make the individual ill and therefrore poor and socialy isolated.

Believe it or no this is very good news! Why? Because it is easier to do something about our social standing than it is to change our income. We can also raise the social standing of our friends.

I hold a study breakfast  (that is usually just me) each Tuesday between 08.15 and 11.15 and the Crosse Keys in Gracechurch st in the City of London. Do not worry! It is a Weatherspoons and therefore cheap. I am usually found at table 33.
