Accountability.

Who are we accountable to? It need not be a boss. It could be friend or a deity. It could be ourselves.

I have always found I did a better job for other people than I did for myself.

Both these pictures show forms of accountability. One to the police. The other to God.

I will become accountable to you, dear reader by only writing about what I have already done. This means I simply cannot write here when I am not making progress. A subtle accountability!
