We cannot think about what we cannot change.

Most people think we cannot change what we cannot think about. This is true- but it is also true that we cannot think about what we cannot change. To do so would invite depression.

We only see the elephant in the room when we are handed an elephant gun.

The first photo is of London, the second is of Oxford. One reason I walk as much as I do is that it reduces my sense of helplessness. There are so many possible lives I could lead.
The fact that you can read this blog and I can write it means that we both have hope.
