Wear a vest beneath the shirt and then turn the hearing down slightly. Wear warm socks and pants but do not bother with thermal or you will suffer in a modern office.

Wear tweed rather than a traditional woollen business suit when you can get away with it. There is a great deal of rubbish tweed around but if you go for the real deal and you will have an item designed for the rigors of the hunt. It will last longer than a city suit and will tend not to crease. Furthermore it will generally be warmer. Wear a jacket indoors and turn down the heat at home.
